Underdress : unbleached linen with 4 gores. Ochre braid trimming.
Apron : read cotton broadcloth with yellow linen insert and trimming. Glass and bone beads necklace. Commisionned piece. detail : [link] I am currently working on a apron dress pattern that is closed on the sides, therefore more accurate. There is little is known about female viking costumes, since most didn't make it throught 1000 years. So there must be some interpretation done. |
